I have a macbook pro model A1502 EMC 2835 with EFI lock. i have followed the following steps to remove the EFI lock but it don't work.
1. Plug battery and magsafe in.
2. Power on the macbook.
3. Close lid at the user login screen.
4. Insert EFIDL with vcc and gnd.
5. The green lights blinks slowly.
6. Reset PRAM.
When i try to reset PRAM i still get the efi lock screen(black screen). When i try to insert EFIDL without vcc and gnd. The EFIDL is searching for a chip (green and red light are blinking). Could some one please help me out I'm out of ideas..
I did some what experiments on my own. I have found out that when i turn the macbook on waited till the apple logo come. Then i inserted the EFIDL the EFIDL keeps searching for a chip. But after a couple of minutes the macbook boots into recovery mode. Can i do something to bypass efi in the recovery mode?
