i need a clean dump for my locked efi make and also a datasheet to the chip but i have no clue where the chip is on my board cause its still on the computer havaint taken it out yet waiting on the tools
You need to use a modified dump if available. So read it and post it here so we can modify it for you. This is the safest and most successful approach.
so i came across a bump on a the road so im trying to read the chip MX25L6406E i put the three red wires on one pin so when i run ur cammand i get and i get no eeprom/flash device found
Raspberry Pi with a SOIC8 pin connecter (for this macbook pro) I do however have a MBA clip on order (for an MBA I also have)
The problem with the MBP is I can't locate the chip to attach to?
Does the system run? That almost looks like liquid damage or it is fried, or as you said, someone may have tried to flash it already. It sure isn't pretty like the attached picture!
