Can someone clean my ( iMac Core i5 2.7 21.5-Inch (Late 2013) 2638 ) Logic Board 820-3588
Bios Dump I tried to edit it now my imac boots, fan spins, but screen stays black, without chime
if anyone can help it would be much appreciated...
I also tried looking for the file in the EMC downloads section it shows the file being there but no download option!
Do you have the original read from the bios? This one has been cleared already.
Did you clear the "pram" after you wrote the file back? Did you clear the "me" region?
Hi CygnusX1
Thanks for your help, I think I kind of messed up a little
I read the chip using (MiniPro TL866CS) I then opened the Bin file using HxD Editor
I then rewritten the $SS section with FF then instead of saving the file as "Save-As" and renaming it, I accidentally clicked "Save"
writing over the Original read Bin file... So this one copy I have uploaded is the only Original I have
Also as for the Me-Region I tried fallowing the steps, but can't seem to do it
and yes I have done a PRAM reset
Any help CygnusX1 would be greatly appreciated!!
Also do you think it would be possible to fix the issues in this bin I have uploaded ?
No, No other changes at all I just replaced the portion of the $SVS with all "FF" in Which the Bios lock was located
I did not change anything in the ME Region section or anywhere else, just the $SVS
Like I mentioned Im aware of keeping a backup of the Original but after editing the $SVS section I clicked on "Save" instead of "Save-As"
writing over the Original Dump, I didn't even get a chance to save multiple copies..
Would it be possible if anyone can fix or take a look at my Original Bin I uploaded ?
