Hi ThaGHO5T

Here is my Early 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 15" 2.7Ghz 16Gb Model A1398 (EMC 2673) Dump Firmware Locked
And just to give you a bit more details, I don't use the Raspberry method since i do not own one and already have another programmer
I choose to use the (MiniPRO) 48pin TSOP programmer , I unsolder the Bios , read then backup the Dump in a folder!

I was wondering if you could unlock this one for me and add the (Model-Number) here in the Hex/Bin file and then upload it
to the site for others to use..

P.s I also have Other models of macs that I will be reading the bins and uploading them to the site!
For every bin I get back from you I will Upload the next models I have to try and fill Up your Repository section :)

Hi can anyone help with this Bin I uploaded above ?
I need the password cleared from it, and serial replaced with (Model-Number) ?

Thanks!

I removed the password and I found 4 instances of the serial number. So I replaced the serial number with "SERIALNUMBER".

I hope this is what you needed!

If I helped you buy me a latte!

Hi Cygnusx1

Thanks for your reply
I have used a hex editor to replace the (SERIALNUMBER) with the actual one of the macbook
But looks like there is a Firmware lock on it can you correct that ?
Also if there is an issue with the .Bin can it cause half of the keyboard keys to not work ?

OK , I found 6 instances of the serial in the original which is extremely strange. Where did you get the file to begin with?

Hi sorry for the late reply, Ive been away..
I pulled it out of my EFI chip using a (Mini Pro 48 Pin TSOP Programmer)
It was Firmware Locked.. When you mention "Instances" do you mean Errors or location Possibilities ?

Now that I'm back I will be Uploading some more .Bins To the site Tonight Here in the Firmware/Request Section.. ;) B)
