Macbook 12" A1534 EFI chip location was created by Mafioso3
Hi there
I got a Macbook 12" A1534 EFI Firmware Password, i need to clean the password but i don't know the chip location in the mb.
Any one had experience with this model?
Where's located the spi flash memory?

I have all the info for it, sadly I have to say that I have destroy a board while researches so I want to earn the enought money to buy one board before make the info public.

the spi chip must be one of these micro bga,if someone have a damaged board,he can easly identify the spi chip according to schematic of these last type

hello,
As I said in the first post I need to get the money for replace the broken board, is not for make a bussiness, just recover the amount spent on the investigation.
After solder and resolder with hot air station some tracks get damaged
The info is pinout, corresponding test point, pinout in the conector, dump and hex addresses for SN, SVS and iCloud.
If I make it public before recover my money I will never get it back caused all people will offer the service for a doucen of euros.
I think is not very hard to understand, sorry if is not the place to offer the service.

My best wishes. I did it, so, others can do.
I broke the board after desolder and resolder 5 times.
Try to be carefull and you will not face the same problem.

I am not sure what all of this is about, but I am willing to bet you're issues were with the pinout not being correct for the chip model. I am sure once I get a 2015 board in my hands I can shed light on the situation. If anyone has images of chip location please post them.

Hello. I disorder this chip 2Hxxx and the computer still powers on without it. And has the same lock screen. I think this chip is the eeprom for the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth address. In fact is even to small to hold the efi. I believe we have a bigger problem here with this model, which I think the eeprom is embedded inside a bigger chip, like a flash chip or whatever. Any new suggestions ?
