A1297 (EMC 2272) EFI dump request was created by Arjeno
Hey! I need the EFI rom for a MacBook Pro 17" Early 2009 Unibody Core 2 Duo. Honestly I forgot if it is 2.66GHZ or 2.9GHZ. Is it important? If so, is there any way to tell from looking at the hardware?

The processor does matter, if you look at the chip ID of the processor and search it online you will be able to determine.
2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo (T9550)
2.93 GHz Core 2 Duo (T9800)

Looks like I need to take out the logic board in order to see the CPU (its on the bottom). I'll do that later this week.

for what it's worth, i've never seen a macbook pro unibody without a sticker on the ram socket (unless it's been removed)

that sticker indicates the CPU as well as contains the SN.
