Hello,
I'm really confused at this point. I need to completely reflash the EFI chip on my 2015 13" MacBook Pro. I have tried the POMONA clip and a Raspberry Pi. As the chip is too small, it didn't work.
So, the only option to dump and completely reflash the chip seems to be the Easy Flash 4.0.3 + a Raspberry Pi. Is that correct?
Also, on the Easy Flash page is written that a Raspberry Pi should NOT be used with this MacBook as it MAY brick it. How often is this the case? Is it PREVENTABLE?
And if I can't use the Raspberry Pi, is there even a way to read the chip?
If I can't reflash the chip, I need to buy a new Logic Board, so if the Easy Flash won't work I need a new logic board and the Easy Flash would be useless.
Please help me, I don't need to erase an iCloud lock, I need to reflash the chip as my firmware is corrupted and the Mac won't start.
