Please could someone assist me, I have a 13" 2.7 EMC2835 i am trying to connect this up to my PI, which i have done successfully a few times on other macs.
I am using the Headerclip 4.0.3 have tried different power states, The header clip wires facing toward battery. Have tried just about everything!
Please help!

I have tried so many combinations I don’t get a connection/ detection of the chip at all.. have tried two different pi’s wires header clips which work on many other machines any recommendations?

Turn the mac on, put it in sleep mode, wait till the fan stops, then try to read.

You need to turn on the Macbook, then push AND hold the power button ALL the time during read AND write. The connector should then clipped on, showing to the battery. Try with battery and ac connected. Don`t release the power button before read/write is finished.
