2015MBA 1466 Lifted Easy Clip jack off motherboard

Hi there,

I ordered an EasyFlash 4.0.3 that arrived early today. After 6 hours trying to get Flashrom to detect anything other than: Found Generic flash chip "unknown SPI chip (RDID)" (0 kB, SPI) on linux_spi”, trying every recommendation in the forums from others that ran into this, with solid core jumpers, stranded jumpers, in multiple lengths, including 8cm or less, the jack on the board finally reached it’s stress limit and lifted off the board.

So seeing as I don't have a jack to plug the EasyFlash, I'm curious if anybody has had success with any Pomona clips on an a1466 2015 Macbook Air, or if my only recourse is to remove the chip.
