I hope this is the right forum, i have the other guys clip but i cant for the life of me figure out how to set it up to get a proper dump. does anyone know what position the dip switch is supposed to be in? and what is the wire with the pogo pin for? is it a ground?

The probe wire is a 3.3v pin so please do not short anything out as there is no reverse polarity protection. Also the dip switch is dependent on your model. You also need to ensure the correct pin-out as well to whatever programmer you are using.

i keep getting this error
Calibrating delay loop... OK.
No EEPROM/flash device found.
Note: flashrom can never write if the flash chip isn't found automatically.
