Hi,
i had few questions about the clip i've received,
1 why have this clip a switch what's the purpose?
2 can this clip fit one way?
3 must i connect the power adapter to the macbook for powering the eeprom chip or does that do the raspbery?

!. to be able to read the different variations of the MBA
2. the clip SHOULD be inserted only way to to prevent damage because power is running through it
3. the chip is powered via the R pi during the time of the reading
