Nice site with huge collection of datasheets. www.alldatasheet.com
We can determinate a chip by 'flashrom' and read about it there :)

I agree, but if you know the chips model then you can go right to the manufacturer website and pull it. Thats what I always do.

I would suggest creating a separate database where we can upload schematics.
EFI Chip schematics are pretty easy to find, however getting a logic board schematic is a pain.
Not sure if anyone here would be interested in that kind of info, since it's not an Apple repair forum, but anyway...

Macbook Pro A1502 EMC 2678 820-3536-A Files:
1. BIN file - EFI dump to be modified before flashing
2. EFI Chip schematics - pinouts, etc.
3. Logic board schematics - just in case you're a hardware geek
4. DMG file - after booting into the unlocked OS, flash this firmware

I think it would be a good idea as well, but most people come here to get files not submit them. Which would make it an unused resource. Does anyone else think this could be an asset? @token.paul or @kiiinglouie?

Id prefer you to just upload the files to the forum as the zip. I dont like linking to sites like that, didnt break any rules though... Actually I am not sure I have any rules?

Anyways, thanks for the ROM; to be clear is it unlocked? The chip datasheet is easy to get and I think the DMG is just the firmware downloaded from Apple that should be forced as an upgrade. But where did you get the board schematic?

I did use the "Attachments" section to add the zip, but my message got submitted without it. So, I added a link.
Yeah, I agree, people won't come here to share. Well, I'll upload what I have.

It took me forever to find schematics. It was some Indonesian forum - nothing special.

I think we may collect some kind of information like chip and its location on the board. Mostly questions is like: "what a chip and where it soldered?"
It can be something like library, actually it is one picture and one text string for each EMC... We can use are photos from ifixit with own marks, for example.

Can you get a collection of information such as that? If so I will build the database and will import the information into it for quick reference. I think its a great idea if it would be contributed to and used. You guys tell me what you want and I will make it happen.
