Confirmation of correct flash clip for my EFI chip was created by Baelfir3N1ghthawk

Hello

I have a Micron N25Q064A for my EFI chip in my MBP 2012. I'm just making sure that the Pomona 5250 SOIC clip is the correct one for flashing my EFI before I buy it.

Yes, that would be the correct clip for the Micron N25Q064A.

Thank you very much. Now lets hope this solves my problem.

I think the previous owner mucked with the EFI to run a pirated version of windows. My MBP hangs when it tries to boot from OS X installation media and the version of windows that it came with was hacked on. So I wonder if they broke EFI. Oddly enough it boots legit windows disks though.
