Hello all, And thank you for this great website and all the info in it. I have an MBA A1369 mid 2011, I used the EFIDL and gave me green light for successfully removing the EFI. but when I turned it on I got nothing but a spinning fan every few seconds. I read the chip with flashrom in raspberry pi three times and matches the md5sum on all of them. i know now I should've read it first just in case something like this happens. If anyone can look at the files and see what went wrong i would greatly appreciated it. attached are the files. Thanks in advance.
So I downloaded the file and flashed the chip but it was still EFI locked. I then modified it, cleaned the $SVS (there was 4 instances even on the file i downloaded) re-flashed it and viola... Doing the install now. thanks again.
I tried first with EFIDL but went back to spinning fan and no boot. So I cleaned the repo file with hex editor and flashed it again. For some reason the EFIDL did not work on it. It worked like a charm on A1466 MacBook Air "Core i5" 1.4 11" (Early 2014) 1.4 GHz Core i5 (I5-4260U).
