Erase failed... again

I have a macbook pro 13" retina mid 2014. I am trying to remove the efi password to no avail. Every time I try to erase it gives me a erase failed error. I am using a raspberry pi model B and a ezflash for connecting. I have tried 2.5amp power adapters, 3 of them. I have tried battery unhooked mag hooked, all hooked, all unhooked, battery hooked and mag unhooked. I have read the chip 3 times with the same hash every time, but when I try to erase I get the errors.
