iPhone 6s / IOS 10.3, 11.x iCloud unlock help

Was hoping someone here had better luck / experience with removing iCloud locks from iPhones.

Ive searched the net for days and tried multiple DNS /iHax bypass techniques with no luck.

My mother-in-law gave me 2 iPhone 6s before moving to Canada.

Of course her xfinity email is no longer in service so I am unable to do a password reset by email and she has no clue what her iCloud password is let alone what a eye-cloud is.

Before attempting a $55 online service that supposedly can remove the iCloud lock, I was hoping maybe someone here has either

a) found a legitimate method for removing iCloud lock from IOS 11.x
b) has personally used a iCloud unlock online service with positive results.
c) has information that I do not that could help me.

If you want remove iCloud from iPhone for free, you need know Apple ID account, and the phone number is still in use, you can go to   iforgot.apple.com  to refund the Apple ID for free.
But if you no have Apple ID account, you can remove iCloud from iPhone without password via Eelphone iPhone Unlock, but you need backup iPhone to computer firstly, After having removing iCloud, you can restore from backup.
