HI at all
I have a corrupted EFI on my MacBook Air Core i5 1.8 13 (Mid-2012) EMC 2559 EEPROM.
So i try to flash a clean edited EFI FIrmeware form the Repository.

My Setup:
Raspberry Pi 3 with power supply and an SD card with Rasbian installed.
8 Pin Pomona SOIC clip
8 Female-to-Female wires. (20cm -> 7,8 inches)
Flashrom succeful installed

I Remove my logic board from the Case and direct connect the Pomona SOIC clip to the chip on the back.

I've checked the wiring:
Pin1 - 24
Pin2 - 21
Pin3 - 17 (disconnected)
Pin4 - 25
Pin5 - 19
Pin6 - 23
Pin7 - 17 (disconnected)
Pin8 - 17
I try it without the WP cable and without HOLD connected

But all times my sudo flashrom –r ~/efi/read1.bin -V -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0 command return:
"No EEPROM/flash device found."

Is it even possible to read this Macbook Air EEPROM directly with the 8 Pin Pomona SOIC clip?

Try:
sudo flashrom -V -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=8000
