Help with MBP - A1398 - EMC 2512 - 820-3332

Hi,

I recently bricked my EFI BIOS and am now trying to fix the problem.

The model is :
Macbook Pro Retina - Mid 2012 - 2.6 Ghz
A1398 - EMC 2512 - Logic board 820-3332-A

I am not that confident with BIOS flashing and I didn't find the firmware yet. So I assume, that I don't need an unlocked firmware, right ?
Or do you always need a unlocked firmware even if you didn't buy the laptop from a 3rd party ?

I would be very grateful, if someone had the right firmeware for my model. I searched in the forum, but without success.

Also.. Do you think I could also use a SPI programmer like this with a Pomona clip to fix the problem on a Windows machine ?
SPI programmer: Link
Pomona Clip: Link

Or would you say Raspberry Pi + Pomona clip is better ?

Thanks for your help!

Stabilo
