Hi all,


i, i have a HP Zbook 15U G6 brand new but I stupidly have setup a password to the BIOS/UEFI without really knowing (via the HP Security Client in WIndows)

So I entered the key I thought it would be... No luck. Was thinking like a thousands times what it could be...

Brought it to HP repair shop and had HP on the line, and they tell me about board replacement that costs me a whopping 900 bucks.

Is there any SMC.bin or hack available to resolve this? It's not clear to me whether they still do this procedure.. I would expect for a very expensive PC...


I would be forever grateful for any solutions given!!
