Hello all,
I am trying to flash the EFI rom from a 2017 A1534 12" Macbook (Logic board 820-00045).
I have a basic TL866 programmer with the included Xgpro software.

I am using the J6100 JTAG connector to get the SPI_ALT pins in the following format:

Essentially,
Programmer Pins:
(Left Column)                        (Right Column)
1   ->   SPI_ALT_CS_L               5   ->   PP3V3_G3H
2   ->   SPI_ALT_MISO               6   ->   SPI_ALT_IO<3>
3   ->   SPI_ALT_IO<2>               7   ->   SPI_ALT_CLK
4   ->   GND                        8   ->   SPI_ALT_MOSI

However, my programmer cannot seem to detect the chip. I have tried with and without system powered on.
Is there something I have to do with SPIROM_USE_MLB in order for the programmer to communicate with the EFI ROM chip?

Thanks!
