Good morning,

I'm attempting to EFI Crack the MBA i-5 early 2014 Model.
However the EMC 2631 Firmware is not listed currently on this site. (I've attached the MBA Spec as an image)

2 Questions:
1.) Does any one have this (UNLOCKED) firmware.
2.) If not, could I simply obtain it myself by copying Firmware from an already (UNLOCKED) MBA, same model?

Thank you for your help.

Dump oryginal bios just in case and hex edit yourself...
Look this article > ghostlyhaks.com/blog/apple-efi/18-how-to-hack-apple-efi-2
You must find $SVS and replace to FF
Or upload your dump bios to the forum and someone edit 4you

p.s. EMC 2631 you have the list MacBook Air Core i5 1.4 11 (Early 2014)> www.ghostlyhaks.com/downloads/efi-repository?resetfilters=0&clearordering=0&clearfilters=0 but you too edit hex and put your serial number from old bios.

Are you using a Raspberry Pi with Flashrom to flash the EFI?

If so, you can simply follow the tutorial here and erase the password from your own EFI image.

Yes! Dump and clean your own ROM. if you're uncomfortable cleaning it, upload it and somebody will help. It's always best to use your own firmware.

The repo or other internet dumps should be a last resort.

Random firmwares may require ME cleaning etc
