If you were to do this on your own, following the process in my blog, you would need the following tools: Raspberry Pi, Power Supply, SD Card, Female-to-Female Wires, SOIC 8/MBA Easy Flash Clip, Pentalobe Screwdrivers, and knowledge of ISP/SPI programming. I have taken the liberty of doing a small cost analysis of the tools and came up with what you see below.

Refunds
In the unlikely event that we are unable to unlock your Mac then a full refund will be issued. However, a refund will not be issued under the following circumstances:
- Your Mac was deemed to have been damaged either prior to shipping, or during transit
- It is your duty to ensure a proper packaging and safe voyage to our techs, if you fail to do so then that is not our fault.
- This is NOT a repair service, any Mac sent to us that has been previously damaged to the extent where an unlock is not possible then this will not qualify for a refund and the device will be shipped back to you in the condition it arrived. If you decide not to adhere to this condition, then you run the risk of receiving a Mac in a worse condition than you sent it. To be more specific, we just ask that you please not send us any Mac that has been modified, damaged, or in a currently unusable state (besides it being locked, we got you covered there).
- You threaten, intimidate, impersonate, or for any reason violate the terms and conditions set forth by the GhostlyHaks Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- Sometimes these things can take time to complete, and as such you understand that we are regular people, with everyday regular lives. Sometimes life happens, and we are not to be held accountable for any possible delays in the performing of the service. However, we agree to perform the services as adequately as possible, and to do so in as quick a time as possible.
Shipping
When you click add to cart and go through the checkout process you will see a summary of the price plus any taxes or payment fees. The shipping cost covers the return shipping after your EFI Password has been cleared. The turnaround time is greatly dependent on shipping and your customs (if you are outside of the US). The quicker you ship it to us, the quicker we get it back to you! This is all subject to volume of orders, but we usually have a 24-72 hour turnaround time from receiving your device to shipping it back to you.
You have a couple options when it comes to shipping. you can either send us the entire mac, or just the logic board. If you only send us the logic board we may not be able to test our work and make adjustments. This will lead to you having to ship us back your board for re-flash. It is solely up to you how you want to get it to us in the first place, but when it comes to shipping it back to you we would like to protect you in every way we can. There will be a couple options for shipping that may include priority, insurance, and signature so I suggest you choose wisely as these machines are quite expensive as I am sure you are aware.
